Kids Court School located at UNLV remains a beacon for research and application in the field of helping children testify and reducing their anxiety while increasing the validity of their testimony. Dr. Nathanson & Dr. Saywitz's study in 2003 demonstrated how children testify in different settings, private versus an empty courtroom. The difference was significant. Kids Court School was introduced to us at a training in LA in 2013. We were inspired by this free service and have tried to embody that spirit in our own non-profit.
